Northwest winds made for a choppy start to the day, but the second annual CDBCC sprint regatta ended in grand fashion with a war canoe race between the Mississauga Canoe Club, and the team from Balmy Beach.
In between more than 80 paddlers, from peewee and bantam age divisions, and masters, headed out onto the waters of Collingwood Harbour to compete in singles, pairs and fours in sprint canoe and kayak.
